1. Introduction and Nominet reference
1.1 All .UK domain registrations are subject to Nominet’s UK Registrant Terms and Conditions. By registering a domain through R&B Consulting Limited you agree to comply with Nominet’s rules and these terms.
2. Domain registration
2.1 We do not represent that a requested name can be registered, or that it will be registered in your name, until we notify you that it has been. Action taken before that notice is at your risk.
2.2 Registration and use are subject to the naming authority’s terms. You must know those terms and comply with them. You have no claim against us if a name is refused. An administration charge already paid is non-refundable if the naming authority refuses the name.
2.3 We have no liability for your use of a domain name. Disputes with other people are for the parties to that dispute. If a dispute arises we may, at our discretion and without giving a reason, withhold, suspend, or cancel the name. We may make representations to the naming authority and are not obliged to take part in the dispute. A dispute over rights in a .UK domain name may be dealt with under Nominet’s Dispute Resolution Service (DRS).
2.4 We will not release a domain to another provider unless payment due for that domain has been received.
3. Payment
3.1 Charges follow the scale published on this website and are due in advance. Pricing may change, but a prepaid period is honoured at the rate paid.
3.2 Payment falls due on each anniversary period you selected until you give notice to close the service. If you pay by card, you authorise us to take renewal fees you have explicitly agreed.
3.3 Payments are in GBP.
3.4 If a sum is not paid by the due date we may suspend the services.
4. Termination
4.1 Non-payment may lead to suspension or immediate termination.
4.2 A breach of these terms may lead to suspension or immediate termination.
4.3 If you are a company and you enter insolvent liquidation, administration, receivership, or a voluntary arrangement with creditors, we may suspend or terminate immediately.
4.4 We may suspend or terminate at any time. If we do so other than for your breach or non-payment, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused prepaid period.
4.5 You may cancel at any time by contacting us. We do not charge a cancellation fee, service charge, or exit fee. A registry admin fee for a change, such as a change of owner, is passed on.
4.6 Outbound transfers are free and completed within one business day after a valid request from the domain holder.
4.7 Card refunds are issued only to the same card.
5. Indemnity
5.1 You indemnify us against breach of these terms and against third-party claims arising from the services and your use of them, including reasonable legal costs.
6. Limitation of liability
6.1 Conditions and warranties not expressly stated here, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded to the extent the law allows.
6.2 Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
6.3 Our total aggregate liability for a claim in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise is limited to the charges you paid for the services that are the subject of the claim.
6.4 No claim may be brought unless you notify us within one year of it arising.
6.5 We are not liable for loss of business, contracts, profits, anticipated savings, or other indirect or consequential loss.
7. Notices
7.1 Notices may be sent by email or recorded delivery to the address last given. Email is deemed received on the day it is sent, unless the contrary is proved. Recorded delivery is deemed served two days after posting.
8. Law
8.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
9. Headings
9.1 Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
10. Renewals and expiry
10.1 Renewal reminders are sent 30, 14, and 7 days before expiry.
10.2 An unrenewed name follows Nominet’s suspension and deletion process.
10.3 We do not automatically renew without explicit consent.
10.4 During Nominet’s grace period you may still request renewal in line with registry rules.
11. Abuse handling
11.1 Abuse complaints go to legal@rbconsultingltd.com.
11.2 Complaints are acknowledged within 5 business days and investigated within 10 business days.
11.3 If the issue remains unresolved, you will be told of the right to escalate to Nominet.
12. Conduct
Customers must communicate respectfully. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or systems is not tolerated. We may suspend or terminate services without refund in cases of abusive conduct.
13. Cancellation
13.1 You may cancel by contacting us. There is no cancellation or exit fee.
13.2 A registry admin fee for a domain change is passed on.
14. Entire agreement
14.1 These terms and the documents they refer to are the entire agreement and replace earlier arrangements on the same subject. Oral explanations do not change them.
14.2 We may amend these terms. The current version is the one published on this website.
14.3 It is your responsibility to check for updates.
