1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy sets the standards for registration, renewal, and transfer of .UK domains through R&B Consulting Limited, in line with Nominet’s rules and ordinary registry practice. Registering a name through us means you agree to this policy.
2. Prohibited content and activities
- Any illegal activity under the laws of England and Wales or applicable international law.
- Pornographic or obscene content involving minors, which will be reported.
- Copyright infringement or distribution of pirated software, film, or other protected material.
- Hate speech, harassment, or defamatory content aimed at individuals or groups.
- Activity that encourages crime, including hacking, phishing, fraud, or identity theft.
If prohibited content or activity is detected we may suspend the domain or related services immediately. Serious cases may be reported to law enforcement.
3. Email and spam
- Unsolicited bulk email using our services is forbidden.
- Using a domain registered through us for spam or abusive mailing lists is prohibited.
- A violation may mean immediate suspension.
- Repeat offences lead to termination without refund.
4. Abuse complaints
Send abuse reports to legal@rbconsultingltd.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 5 business days and investigated within 10 business days. If unresolved, you will be told you can escalate to Nominet.
5. Illegal activities
Immediate suspension or cancellation may follow hacking or attempted unauthorised access, card fraud, theft, identity theft, phishing, malware distribution, violence, threats, or harassment. No refund is issued where services end because of illegal activity.
6. Right to refuse service
We may refuse or discontinue services if a customer’s actions breach this policy, breach Nominet’s terms, or pose a risk to other customers, our systems, or our reputation.
7. Nominet policies
Customers must comply with Nominet’s rules, including the UK Registrant Terms and Conditions. Failure can mean suspension or cancellation without refund.
