Registration
We submit .UK domain registrations to the registry on your instruction. We do not promise that a requested name can be registered, or that it will be registered in your name, until the registry confirms it. Anything you do before that confirmation is at your own risk.
- You provide registrant details required by the registry.
- Fees are payable in advance, in GBP, at the rate published at the time of order.
- A refused registration does not create a claim against us. Any administration charge already paid is non-refundable if the naming authority refuses the name.
- Use of the name remains subject to Nominet’s terms. Disputes with third parties are between those parties; we may suspend a name while a dispute is open. Rights disputes over a .UK name may be dealt with under Nominet’s Dispute Resolution Service (DRS).
Renewal
Never lose a domain because an expiry date was missed. Renewal is a decision you make, not one we take for you.
- Reminders go out 30, 14, and 7 days before expiry.
- Renewal is completed through your client account or by a written request.
- Renewal pricing is published. We do not add undisclosed service charges.
- We do not automatically renew a domain without your explicit consent.
- If a name is not renewed, it follows Nominet’s standard suspension and deletion process.
- During the grace period set by Nominet, you can still request renewal in line with registry rules.
Transfer
Names move between registrars by IPS tag. We accept inbound transfers and we release outbound transfers.
- Inbound: supply the domain and the IPS tag instruction. We process it once the tag change is valid.
- Outbound: a valid request from the domain holder is completed within one business day.
- Outbound transfers are free. We do not block a move away.
- We will not release a name to another provider until charges due for that name have been paid.
- Where a registrar admin fee applies to a change — for example a change of registrant — that fee is passed on and itemised.
What we need from you
For any request, include the domain name, the action you want, and a contact we can reply to. Administrative questions go to the admin desk; billing questions to billing; tag and DNS issues to technical support. Abuse and complaints have separate routes so they are not buried in a general inbox.
